Together, the GERSHWINS created some of the most beguiling and beautiful songs which comprise the Great American Songbook. “Someone to Watch Over Me”, “Embraceable You”, “Nice Work If You Can Get It”, “I Got Rhythm”, and “They Can’t Take That Away from Me” are just a few of the timeless tunes that George and Ira Gershwin wrote for Broadway and Hollywood.

In this special multimedia presentation, classic film scholar MICHAEL VAN DEN BOS whisks you away on a fabulous flight through the glories of Gershwin featuring live song performances by Canadian jazz vocalist ANGELA VERBRUGGE, interlaced with vintage musical clips from classic Hollywood movies projected on the big screen. Get ready for an elegant evening of Gershwin gold and their “Fascinating Rhythms”!
